FAQs
I Would like to change the exterior color of my house from a tan and creme theme to a barn red (or deeper red) with white trim theme. I have used this theme in my living room painting two walls (one mainly taken up with sliding glass door and fireplace) with a red from one of the decorative paint lines, and leaving trim, the other walls and ceiling white. Are there any exterior reds that will stand up to the sun with out causing future problems?
How must I calculate the amount of paint required to cover the ceiling space?
We were washing the walls in preparation of painting. The paint started to peel off. Did they use a latex over an oil based paint? If so how do we fix this to paint over the walls with a semi-gloss latex?
